Herzog, P.T., Owner
Barbara graduated from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, Minnesota
in 1981. She resides in the South Lyon area, which affords her an understanding
of the needs of the community. Barbara's areas of expertise include joint
replacements, low back pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Jill
Sullivan, P.T.
Jill graduated from Oakland University in 1987. She is a resident of New
Hudson and enjoys working close to home with the people of this community.
Jill's special interest is aquatic therapy. She has worked for the last
thirteen years performing outpatient therapy in a facility with a fitness
center. This environment enabled her to meet the patients', and communities',
long term health and wellness goals. She is currently a guest lecturer at
Oakland University on Aquatic Physical Therapy and assisted in research
on aquatic therapy following total hip arthroplasty. Click

Cristina
Mellas, C.M.T.
Cristina graduated from the University of Physical Education in Bucharest,
Romania with a specialty in Physical Therapy. She has been working with
Healthstyles since 1992. Cristina expanded her knowledge to include massage
therapy. She graduated from Irene's Myomassology Institute. Her primary
focus of interest is in sports rehab, neuromuscular therapy, and myofascial
massage therapy. Cristina believes that therapeutic massage enhances ones
quality of life by helping to promote the healing process, supporting
an active life-style, and by giving an increased sense of well being.

Finn
Vicky graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1996 with a bachelor
of science in health administration. She has over eleven years of physical
therapy business office experience. She enjoys the constant challenge that
the industry offers.

Linda Bevier, O.T.R., C.H.T.
Linda graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree
in occupational therapy in 1978. Linda later completed her master’s degree
in administration from Central Michigan University. She brings to Healthstyles
a varied background with experience in supervision of in/outpatient rehabilitation,
behavioral medicine, home health care, long-term care, and school therapy.
Linda has specialty certification in hand therapy, and training in lymphedema
management.

Kathleen
Rigley, O.T.R.
Kathleen received her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 1997.Her
experience covers a wide range of both neurological and orthopedic diagnoses
in acute care and outpatient rehabilitation. She is committed to maintaining
the highest standards of practice thorough extensive continuing education,
and, over the past two years, has completed certification in Leduc method
of lymphedema management, strength training, and ergonomic assessment.

Leslie
Azal Nilsson, M.S.W., C.S.W.
Leslie graduated from Ohio State University in 1977 with a bachelor’s
degree in social welfare. She received a Master of Social Work from Wayne
State University in 1986, where she specialized in health care and completed
a social work residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital. Ms. Nilsson has
worked exclusively in the field of rehabilitation in a variety of inpatient
and outpatient multidisciplinary settings. Ms. Nilsson has maintained
a psychotherapy private practice since 1990, and specializes in working
with adults with traumatic brain injury. She also provides social work
services and consultation to numerous rehabilitation agencies in the metropolitan
area.

Dana graduated from the University of Michigan with batchelor degrees both
in biology and health science. She received a Master of Physical Therapy
from University of Michigan, Flint. Dana has been with Health Styles Rehabilitation
since 2004. |

Ty
graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in kinesiology.
She is certified by AFAA as a Personal Trainer and a Group Fitness Instructor,
and also by AEA as an Aquatic Fitness Instructor.

Patzer , Physical Therapist
Todd received his Bachelors in Allied Health Professions from Wayne State
University and his Master of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University.
He is currently working towards being a sports specialist in physical
therapy. In his spare time, Todd enjoys watching college/pro football,
bowling and golf. Todd has been with Health Styles Rehabilitation since
2004.

Leah graduated
from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI with a Bachelor of Science
in Physical Therapy in 1994. She worked as a P.T. in sub-acute geriatric
rehabilitation for five years, specializing in joint replacements and
neurological disorders. She has worked in the outpatient setting for the
past seven years and enjoys treating sports medicine and orthopedic patients.
Leah had two children and her hobbies include gardening, skiing, and playing
soccer. |
